Healthy Snack and Packed Lunch Guidelines

Still image for this video
At Sudbury, snacks and packed lunches must continue to follow the guidelines set out in the Healthy Eating policy to maintain our Healthy School status.

Children in KS2 have lunch at 1.50pm, so please make sure that you are providing your child with a break time snack. The healthiest snack option for children to have is fruit or vegetables. They provide children with important vitamins and minerals to help them grow and stay healthy.

Please follow the links below to see the full benefit of eating different fruits and vegetables and advice for getting your 5 a day.

Healthy Snack College Competition

Healthy Snack College Competition 1
Children in Key Stage Two are encouraged to bring a fruit or vegetable item for their breaktime snack. Each class will count the amount of children who do this each day and the college with the most fruit and vegetable snacks will win college points.
