Re: Online Pupil Progress Meetings – Monday 7th & Monday 14th March 2022
Dear Parents / Carers,
You and your child are invited to attend a virtual pupil progress meeting which will be a 10-minute online appointment held from 2:30pm – 5:10pm on either Monday 7th or 14th March 2022.
You are also invited to book a 5-minute appointment with our specialist teachers - PE, Music & French (KS2 only).
You will be able to meet your child’s teacher(s) easily and remotely by video call. No app is required to be installed, you will just need to use a smart phone or laptop. All calls are encrypted.
We will be using an online booking appointment system that has now opened. When booking an appointment please only select:
Please note that appointments will be allocated on a ‘first come first served’ basis. Specialist Teacher appointments are limited in numbers, therefore if you log on and find that there are no available slots, you will be unable to meet with specialists on this occasion. However, you can still discuss specialist subjects with your child's class teacher.
The booking appointment system will close on Thursday 3rd March 2022 at 8:00 am. To book an appointment please visit https://sudburyprimary.schoolcloud.co.uk/ and follow the guidance document below. If you are unable to book an appointment, please send an email stating your full name, the name of your child, their class and your preferred appointment time to office@sudburyprimary.co.uk.
Please make sure that you have read your child’s mid-year report that was published on Friday 11th February by logging on to Go 4 Schools before attending the meeting.
At the meeting, your child’s current academic attainment will be discussed, and you will be informed of the stage of learning your child should be at by the end of the year. The difference between where your child is at now (current attainment) and where they should be at the end of the year (their target) will form the main basis for discussion. We want to be very certain that both you and your child know exactly what they have to do to reach that target by the end of the academic year and that you know the very best strategies to support your child at home in achieving them.
Please ensure that you are punctual and join the meeting 5 minutes before your allocated time. The meeting will finish at the end of the appointment time and automatically move onto the next parent on the teacher’s schedule.
Yours sincerely,
Mr L Webber
