School Uniform

We encourage all children to wear full school uniform.

The uniform consists of:-

  • Red sweater, cardigan or sweatshirt with the school logo, grey skirt/trousers. In warm weather a white T-shirt, grey shorts or red  and white dresses may be worn.
  • Sensible black shoes or black trainers. In warm weather, sandals may be worn. Please ensure these are sturdy enough for school wear.
  • Umbrellas are not to be brought into school; children must wear appropriate clothing, hat, rain mackintosh in wet weather.
  • All pupils will need a book bag with the school logo, older pupils will also need a school rucksack.

 

 

Traditional Dress

 

We are proud of our cultural diversity and respect an individual's rights to wear items of clothing for religious or cultural reasons. Headscarves and turbans must be plain white, red or black. We do not allow jewellery to be worn in school unless it is for religious reasons. Only stud earrings are allowed for Health & Safety reasons. PLEASE NOTE PUPILS ARE NOT ALLOWED TO WEAR ANY JEWELLERY DURING PE LESSONS, THIS INCLUDES STUD EARRINGS.

 

 

 

P.E. & Games Kit - Compulsory

 

Children need a complete change of clothes for P.E. Their P.E. Bag must contain:

· White T-shirt and a T-shirt in college colour 
· Black shorts or tight leggings/ joggers with school logo
·Socks 
·  Plimsolls for indoor & outdoor  activities 
·         Jogging suit/tracksuit/leggings for games can be worn in the winter (GREY) 
·         Pupils need a proper P.E. bag to hold all the equipment. 

Please note: Pupils in Year 5 currently go swimming. Swimming is part of the National Curriculum P.E. requirement and all pupils are expected to attend the sessions at Vale Farm. Children will need a swimsuit, a swimming cap, a towel and £1.00 coin for the lockers (refundable).
